On October 28, 2022, the Colored Conventions Project in collaboration with Mural Arts Philadelphia unveiled two murals at the Courtyard Apartments at Riverview in Southwark, Philadelphia. P. Gabrielle Foreman, Denise Burgher, and Brandi Locke spearheaded and coordinated this collaboration. I am so grateful and honored to be part of this process. I created an online exhibit that accompanies the two murals and provides their historical context. QR codes are also posted on the side of the murals which direct viewers to my exhibit. Pictured above are my wonderful colleagues from the University of Delaware, whose dedication to the CCP is unmatched.
